The first stop of the Pompeii and Herculaneum tour will be in Pompeii where you will visit for 2 hours the ancient Roman town that was totally buried by a thick carpet of volcanic ash during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 79AD. Here we can arrange a licensed guide on your behalf to maximize your limited time there or you can walk in the ruins on your own.

The next stop of the tour will be in Herculaneum, the old town of Resina that was totally buried by Lava and Mud flows during the Catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 79AD and actually it is much better preserved than Pompeii. Here you will have 1 and 1/2 hours to visit the ruins on your own or if required we can also arrange an excellent licensed guide on your behalf.

After we will drive you at the Cantina del Vesuvio, a local winery located at the feet of Mount Vesuvius where you can also join a wonderful view of Capri, Sorrento and the entire bay of Naples. In this winery that was born after the last eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the 1944, you will be served some appettizers (bruschetta, salame, provolone, home made bread with extravirgin olive oil), spaghetti with cherry tomatoes to finish with our typical easter cake the "Pastiera Napoletana" (a ricotta and corn pie), all these food will be accompanied with 5 different wines (among white, red and rosèe), 1 spumante (sparkling wine) and 1 distilled of apricot.

The cost for the lunch, wine tasting and the visit in the vineyards is 28 Euros per person.

-We only accept cash payment in Euros.

-The price doesn't include lunch, gratuities, entrance fees for Pompeii and Herculaneum ruins and the additional cost to arrange a licensed guide in Pompeii and Herculaneum (if required).

-The price included taxes, parking tolls and fuel.

-The entrance in Pompeii is 13 Euros per person and Herculaneum is 11 Euros per person (but it is free of charge for kids under 18 only showing a valid ID and for everybody only the 1st Sunday of each Month).
